Fade

I hear it breaking within,
Your heart shatters,
Leaving pieces fallen on the ground,
The voices scream,
And the tears fall,
Giving a sparkle to your cheeks.
Know that I will always be there,
To pick up the pieces.
Pointed edges of broken glass,
Sharp edges of insecurity can cut,
Hurt.
But they are softened with time and wear,
Ragged wounds
May heal, when gently stitched.
And even the deepest wounds,
Will fade.
